First Point of Contact: Disclosure Management Skills Training Research evaluation study
First Point of Contact (FPOC) disclosure management skills training
is a 12-hour psychotherapist-led training programme that prepares participants
to receive disclosures of sexual violence and harassment (SVH) and to signpost
to relevant supports and services.
The training has been devised and delivered through a collaboration between the
Galway Rape Crisis Centre (GRCC) and the Active* Consent programme.
Purpose of this evaluation research study is to
- study the experience and satisfaction of staff and students who have completed
the FPOC training. - To make recommendations for the future development of the
FPOC training with regard to efficacy, inclusion, and sustainability in particular.
